Never have our florals MATCHED a bride so perfectly!!! Katie was a girl who knew what she wanted. Soft, feminine, pastel... and I understood the assignment. We grew an array of muted florals and kept the greenery to an absolute minimum. Instead of deep or vibrant green foliage.. I decided on our freshly planted silver mound artemisia. This worked perfectly as a subtle backdrop to all the light and airy textures.

From the get we had plans for the soft dahlias, lisianthus and moody asters. But it was to my delight when my fama scabiosa, whirling butterfly gaura and cherry blossom were in bloom JUST in time for Katie and Alex. These perennials were started from seed in the early season and added to the perennial cut garden. They were a perfect addition to this soft palette.

The day was a lovely one at Erin Estate. I was overjoyed to be faced with my all time FAVOURITE photographer, Bermiro Photography.. (who I have totally hired to photograph myself & husband!!). The day began by delivering the personal flowers to the beautiful estate where Katie and her girls were getting gorgeous while sipping champagne. We then ventured by golf cart, with florals in tow, to the woodland setting. Here we adorned the beautiful rustic structure with our delicate blooms.

Once the tables were set with bud vases and candles in all the pastel shades.. the waiting game began. Morgan (my JR designer) and I waited in the parking lot while hungrily consuming butter tarts from Tin Roof Cafe. Morgan promptly rated it a 10/10 while I gave them a 9/10 ONLY because I would have loved just one more pecan...

It was then FLIP time after the ceremony was complete and Katie and Alex were officially Mr and Mrs STEMMLER! While guests were making their way over to the beautiful grand hall for cocktails and horderves, we snuck back into the woods to remove the install. We lugged it back into the reception space and carefully set it up on the head table. A perfect re-purpose <3

Being a part of this warm and intimate day was beyond an honour. We even had the absolute delight of hosting Katie and her girls at our farm for a weekend!! They booked The Flower Garden Farmhouse for a celebration leading up to the wedding day. It was honestly so cool being such a part of this!
