who we are...

We are Brigitte & Nikola! A husband and wife team, and parents to 3 kiddos, 3 alpacas, a boxer dog and too many chickens to count. We are entering our 4th year of August Tree Farm.. and the most exciting year yet! This season we are moving our 2 acre flower farm to an 84 acre farm in Erin!
After growing for 3 years in our little backyard farm in Burlington.. we realized we had quickly outgrew our space. In order for us to grow the flowers needed to fill our demand, and offer more special and intimate events.. we would need to take the leap and GO BIG!
This coming season we plan to have 2-3 acres in flower production (about 3 time the amount of previous years), and transform our new space into a dreamy flower village. Here we will grow the most beautiful organic flowers and build a team of devoted workers to share in the joy of our farm.
We will continue our popular subscription service through near by cities (delivering door to door), host weekly floral workshops, special events and over night stays on the farm and continue to serve our customers with all our hearts.
who we are looking for...

We aspire to grow a team who are hard working, highly effective and enjoy the farm with all their hearts. We are looking for team players.. who would enjoy working hard to be a part of something big. Someone who understand that our farm does important work!
Here at August Tree Farm, we spread joy through our naturally grown crops, which in turn make all our hard work feel worth while. We have a goal to create the most beautiful flowers and atmosphere possible. And to offer opportunities to create community and happiness among our customers. We are looking for someone who can understand this and take pride in this.
Furthermore.. we are looking for a hard worker. Someone who is comfortable in natures elements.. and who won't mind the dirt and delightful insects that come with. We are looking for someone who can handle long days in the heat of summer. And have the stamina to plant, tend to and harvest crops efficiently.
This work is hard and yet fulfilling. The days are long and sometimes strenuous, but the rest afterwards is enough to sustain us and prepare us to do it all again tomorrow. We delight in our farm work, and delight in our rest. If this resonates with you.. we'd love to hear from you.
